anyone surfed cape hatteras? i'm going next week, wondering what to expect. i know its a big wind/kite surfing spot.

Thu, December 14, 2006 - 1:11 PMI have surfed most of the outer bank where hatteras is. Seeing how this is old use if for future reference. If the wind is coming from the south you want to go down to the lighthouse. Just about anywhere along the hywy you will see cars pulled over. Rodante or has a pier or did at one time.
Surfing is a way of life down there.
